Reasons to Give Paws
Heart of gold, helter-skelter eyes, jaws of steel. Holds the canine world record in the cross-the-yard dash. Master of the art of window schmutzing. We still can’t figure out how she twists herself into a pretzel to fit in that chair.
Part pit bull, part greyhound, and all princess, Boujie wandered into the life of Margie and her husband, Ted, as a lost pup. At first she was only going to stay at the office until she was big enough to hold her own with the other dogs at home and not squeeze through the fence into the great unknown.
She’s plenty big now — and boy, does she know how to use it. When she’s not at 1400 Words serving as office mascot, secondary security system, and let’s-take-a-break walking partner, Boujie is on the job at home, tormenting the resident squirrels with laser-beam focus.
Boujie condescendingly attends a local obedience training class, with glances back at Margie that broadcast loud and clear that this princess knows she’s better than those… ugh… dogs. Still, she is part pit bull, so let’s just say we’re committed to settling this alpha thing once and for all.
Recycling Patrol
Each day it’s my responsibility to go through every office to make sure there are no lunchtime remnants or savory scraps of paper lying about. Lara, that hefty draft of copy stacked neatly on your floor was particularly tasty. Bone appetit! Hahaha!! I’m so cute.
